Pickup Service
Most of our clients get to the meeting point by taking the bus from Reykjavík. We highly recommend that you give your car a day off and take advantage of this option.
Pickup time
The pickup starts 30 minutes before the set time of the tour. Please make sure to be ready on time at your pickup location. If you’re being picked up from your hotel, it’s important that you’re located somewhere where you can see the bus arrive. The driver is not required to look for guests in the lobby.
Pickup locations
We have a large collection of pickup locations within central Reykjavík. This includes most designated pickup stops in the center of Reykjavík and a selection of hotels. You can see our pickup locations in the booking process.
IMPORTANT for downtown Reykjavík
Note that in downtown Reykjavík there are special pickup stops, NOT at the hotels themselves. You can see the closest pickup stop to your location on this website
Recognizing the bus
Gray Line Iceland operates the pickup, so please look out for one of their buses. Some of the buses are obviously ours as they are fully decorated with our photos, others have a moderate shield in the front window that says ‘Inside the Volcano’
